Duro is short for \"durometer\", a rating that describes the relative hardness of materials - in this case, the polyurethane that is used in skate wheels. The larger the number (between 1-100 on the Durometer A Scale), the harder the material. A softer, more forgiving ride will be had with a 77a rating. You'll feel less vibration come through your board, and the wheel will be a little slower than a wheel at 80a.
